U4GM ARC Raiders Motion Cores Farming Guide

If you spend any time in ARC Raiders, you'll notice pretty fast that Motion Cores sit near the top of the "must keep" pile. They feed workshop progress, unlock better gear, and make the whole grind feel a bit less random. A lot of players also end up juggling other parts of the economy at the same time, especially ARC Raiders BluePrints, since the right recipe often matters just as much as the material itself.

Where Motion Cores Actually Matter

Motion Cores are one of those resources that look ordinary until you run out of them. Then everything slows down. You need them for core workshop upgrades, and that alone makes them worth chasing early. They also show up in some of the stronger weapon and utility recipes, so if you want to build toward a serious loadout instead of just scraping by with starter gear, keeping a stock tucked away is smart. A few players I've seen burn through them too early, then end up stuck waiting for another lucky run. That's usually when the grind starts to feel messy.

Reliable Ways To Farm Them

The easiest place to start is with ARC Probes. They do not fight back, which is already a big win. You hear the beep, spot the smoke, and move in. The catch is that other Raiders hear it too. So the real trick is not the loot itself, it's the patience around it. Check your angles, listen for footsteps, and don't stand still longer than you need to. After that, Surveyor Drones become the next step up. These take more effort, sure, but they're one of the better sources if your weapons are decent and your aim is not a complete mess. Once your squad is comfortable, hunting them becomes a solid loop instead of a risky one-off. Bigger ARC targets are where the highest payouts tend to show up, though. Queen events and other large encounters can drop a good haul, but they also turn the area into a magnet for every opportunist on the map. If your team can keep pressure on the boss while one person stays ready to scoop and move, that's where you can make a run feel worth it.

How Crafting Changes The Picture

At a certain point, farming only gets you so far. That's when the Refiner starts to matter. Once it is upgraded enough, you can turn surplus materials into Motion Cores instead of waiting on drops. It costs resources, obviously, but it gives you control, and control is huge in a game like this. You stop depending on one good outing and start shaping your own progress. If you ever end up holding more Motion Cores than you actually need, recycling is not a bad move either, because getting ARC Alloy back can keep another project moving. That kind of flexibility is what keeps your workshop from stalling out for no good reason.

Getting Out Alive

Half the problem is finding Motion Cores. The other half is leaving with them. A lot of players get greedy near extraction and pay for it. They rush, they get spotted, and then the whole raid goes sideways. It's better to slow down. Use cover before you call for extraction. Keep smoke grenades ready if things start looking busy. Take underground routes when the map gives you one. And if you can hear a fight happening close by, don't pretend it's not there. Give it a minute. Most bad extractions happen because somebody thought they had already won the raid. They hadn't. The last stretch is usually the dangerous bit.

Final Thoughts

If you want a clean way to progress, Motion Cores should sit near the front of your priorities. Probe runs are fine when you're starting out. Surveyor hunting is better once you've got the tools for it. Boss fights are for squads that can handle the noise and still keep calm when the map gets crowded. And if you'd rather skip some of the grind and focus on the parts of the game you enjoy most, it can make sense to buy ARC Raiders Gear and build around the workshop from there. Either way, the players who do best are usually the ones who manage materials, blueprints, and extractions without rushing any one part of the loop.
