Plant Relocation and Equipment Installation Services

Manufacturing facilities may need to relocate machines, production lines or complete sections of a plant due to expansion, modernization or changes in production requirements. Professional plant relocation services can help organizations plan and execute these complex activities.

Equipment relocation services may involve dismantling, packing, shifting, installation and recommissioning of manufacturing equipment.

Planning a Plant Relocation

A successful relocation requires detailed planning. Equipment needs to be safely disconnected, moved and installed at the new location. Production schedules also need to be considered to minimize disruption.

Plant relocation services can include:

• Machine dismantling

• Equipment packing

• Equipment shifting

• Machine installation

• Assembly line relocation

• Re-installation support

• Electrical connections

• PLC programming and commissioning

Equipment Installation and Commissioning

After equipment reaches its new location, installation and commissioning are important steps. Proper alignment, connections and testing can help ensure that machinery is ready for production.

Equipment relocation services may also include coordination of mechanical and electrical installation activities. Depending on the project, installation can involve robots, assembly lines, electrical panels and other production equipment.

Plant relocation projects can become more complex when several machines and production systems need to be moved together. A coordinated project approach can help manage the different technical activities involved.
